Zenvo Aurora Tur Debuts as the Most Powerful V12 Hypercar Ever at Goodwood

At first glance, the interior of this new hypercar might scream Koenigsegg. But look closer, and you’ll realize you’re in the wrong Scandinavian country. This is the Zenvo Aurora Tur, and it’s Danish. What you’re seeing here—and what’s hitting the hill climb at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed—is the final production version of the world’s most powerful V12 hypercar.
A year after its engine first roared to life at the same event, Zenvo is now showing off fully validated prototypes, giving customers their first real look at the finished product.
6-liter quad-turbo V12 developed with MAHLE Powertrain. By itself, it cranks out a targeted 1,250 horsepower and 1,254 lb-ft of torque, revving all the way to 9,800 rpm. But Zenvo didn’t stop there. Three electric motors add another 600 horsepower, bringing the total to 1,850 hp in the all-wheel-drive Tur spec.
3 seconds and top out at 280 mph. A second variant, the Agil, drops the front motors for a rear-wheel-drive setup producing 1,450 hp, focusing on handling over straight-line speed.
Zenvo is using Goodwood to show off two Tur validation prototypes and one Agil show car. These prototypes are the final step before customer deliveries, used for road testing, homologation, and fine-tuning. The yellow-and-carbon-fiber VP5 on display gives the truest sense yet of production quality, with exposed monocoque sections that are structural, large analog gauges, and massive metal shift paddles.
Only 100 units will be built, split evenly between Tur and Agil specs. Production is on track to begin later this year. “Aurora is the car that sets the direction for Zenvo’s future,” says executive chairman Jens Sverdrup.
