Why a Multi-Point Inspection Is Worth Your Time (and What We Actually Check)

Why a Multi-Point Inspection Is Worth Your Time (and What We Actually Check)

If you’re like most drivers around Boca Raton, you spend a good chunk of your day behind the wheel. A 2023 AAA survey found the average person drives about 29 miles daily. That’s a lot of stop-and-go, highway cruising, and pothole dodging. And the more miles you put on your Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, VW, Volvo, Jaguar, Lexus, Toyota, or Honda—hybrid or not—the more chances for something to wear out before you notice it.

That’s where a multi-point inspection comes in. It’s not a sales pitch. It’s a thorough look at the systems that keep you safe and your car running smoothly. We check your dashboard warning lights, headlights, wiper blades, cabin air filter, and body condition. Under the hood, we look at the engine, belts, and fluid levels.

We inspect tires for tread depth and uneven wear, test the brakes, and check the steering and suspension for looseness or leaks.

For hybrid and electric vehicles—like a Lexus hybrid or a Porsche Taycan—the inspection is simpler but still important. We check the high-voltage battery health, cabin filter, tires, and (on the Taycan) the gear oil level. No engine oil to worry about, but those systems still need attention.

The bottom line: even a well-maintained car can hide problems. An oil pan might corrode early. A suspension bushing can crack without a sound. AAA recommends an inspection at least every two years. If you’re due, stop by our family-run shop. We’ll give you a clear, honest rundown of what’s good and what needs work—no jargon, no pressure.
