Global Used Car Sales Experience Significant Increase

Reports indicate a 20% jump in used car sales in Russia since the start of the year, with a 25% increase in spring sales. This trend is part of a global shift towards purchasing pre-owned vehicles, driven by new car shortages and rising prices. In Russia, sales of Chinese brands have increased by 55%, while models such as the Honda Freed, Honda Stepwgn, Volkswagen Golf, Tiguan, and Skoda Octavia have seen sales rise by 52% to 76%.

German cars have experienced a 37% increase, and Japanese models have risen by 24%. The strengthening used market reinforces the importance of maintaining vehicles in good condition, as well-maintained cars hold their value better. This trend affects various car models, including those from Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, VW, Volvo, Jaguar, Lexus, Toyota, and Honda.
