Volkswagen Updates T7 Multivan and California Models

Volkswagen has introduced updates for its T7 Multivan and California models. The changes include sharper exterior styling, with larger LED headlights and a revised bumper. 9-inch infotainment display, and a larger digital gauge cluster. The automatic transmission shifter has been relocated to the steering column, and wireless charging is now standard.
The latest Travel Assist system adds traffic light recognition and assisted lane changes on highways. Powertrains remain unchanged, with options including a 148-hp diesel, a 201-hp gasoline engine, and a 242-hp plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive. Long- and short-wheelbase versions are available, although the California camper is only offered in the long configuration.
A new special edition, called 'Generation', features a two-tone Candy White and Sunset Red Metallic paint job. In the UK, the Multivan will be sold under the historic Caravelle name, while in Germany, it will retain the Multivan badge.
