Used Cadillac Lyriq Prices Now Rival a New Hyundai Ioniq 5

The Cadillac Lyriq, introduced in 2023 as the brand's first production EV, has seen its value drop sharply in the used market. According to CarEdge and iSeeCars, the vehicle is expected to lose about half its value within the first three years. That means a base Luxury FWD model, originally priced at $61,795, could be worth under $33,000 after 36 months.

A more powerful AWD version should retail near $35,000. That puts both squarely in the price range of a brand-new entry-level Ioniq 5, which starts at $35,000.

The depreciation is tied to weak sales. 2%. In 2026, sales are tracking to fall another 16% as of Q2. 9% APR financing over 60 months, which pushes used values even lower.

For buyers, this creates opportunity. Low-mileage used Lyriqs with around 30,000 miles can be found near $30,000. Cars with under 20,000 miles fetch between $35,000 and $40,000. AWD versions with under 30,000 miles run about $35,000, while those with around 10,000 miles go for $40,000 to $45,000.

7 seconds, with 312 miles of range. 8 seconds, and offers 307 miles of range. The cabin is the highlight, with heated and cooled massaging seats, a heated leather steering wheel, a powered moonroof, and adaptive cruise control as standard. Options include a 23-speaker AKG audio system, Super Cruise, Nappa leather, and wood trim.

Active Noise Cancellation and mood lighting add to the quiet, upscale feel.

The Lyriq offers a level of refinement and luxury that a new Ioniq 5 cannot match, making it a compelling buy for those on a $30,000 to $45,000 budget.
