Toyota Enters Italy's 1000 Miglia with Historic Models

The 1000 Miglia, a legendary Italian road race, has seen the participation of various Italian and German automotive brands. This year, Toyota has become the first Japanese manufacturer to officially enter vehicles into the 1000 Miglia Gran Turismo Experience. The company has brought five iconic models from its heritage fleet, including the 2010 Lexus LFA, 1990s A80 Toyota Supra, 1960s 2000GT, 1960s Sports 800, and the 1955 Crown Model RS.

These vehicles showcase Toyota's rich automotive history, with achievements such as the Lexus LFA's five class wins at the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the 2000GT's one-two finish at the Fuji 24 Hours. Toyota's participation in the 1000 Miglia aims to foster cultural exchange between European motorsport and Japan's car culture, highlighting the event's significance in the origins of 'ever-better carmaking rooted in motorsports'.
