Toy Story-Themed Porsche Trio Fetches $3 Million for Charity, Becoming Some of the Priciest New Models Ever

A set of three custom-built Porsches inspired by Toy Story characters just sold for a combined $3 million, making each one of the most expensive new Porsches ever sold. A. Porsche currently on the market. The cars—a Buzz Lightyear 911 GT3 RS, a Woody 911 Carrera T, and a Jessie 911 Targa 4 GTS—were created through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch customization program in partnership with Pixar ahead of Toy Story 5’s release.
Instead of auctioning them off, Porsche sold the entire collection to a single anonymous buyer, with proceeds split evenly among three charities: Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Each car is a true one-off, with design details that pushed Porsche’s engineers to extremes. The Woody Carrera T features paint that mimics denim—real denim was pressed into the base coat, then airbrushed to look like worn leather. The Buzz Lightyear GT3 RS sports one of the most intricate liveries ever applied to a Porsche, blending colors and motifs from the character’s space suit, complete with wing graphics.
The Jessie Targa 4 GTS debuts an entirely new pearl white shade, hand-painted pinstriping, and interior trim inspired by denim and cowhide. These aren’t just expensive cars; they’re rolling works of art that required months of handcrafted labor.
The anonymous buyer said in a statement that the project was a natural fit, combining a passion for unique Porsches with a love for the Toy Story characters and a desire to give back. The trio is currently touring the country at charity events and will be handed over to its new owner during Monterey Car Week in August.
For the charities, the $1 million each will fund disaster response, blood supplies, mentorship programs for youth, toy deliveries, and themed hospital gowns for children.
