Suzuki XBee Gets Two Wild New Looks From Japanese Tuner Damd

The Suzuki XBee has always walked a fine line between tough and adorable, but now a Japanese tuning house is letting owners pick a side. Damd, known for giving small cars big personalities, has unveiled two distinct body kits for the pint-sized crossover. One transforms the XBee into a boxy mini Defender, while the other leans into retro charm with round, playful cues borrowed from the Suzuki Alto Lapin.

D package is the headliner, grafting a Land Rover Defender-inspired face onto the XBee. D lettering, while black trim frames the LED headlights. A redesigned front bumper adds extra plastic cladding, and the side decals, dark taillight trim, and optional roof carrier complete the rugged vibe.

The kit shown also rides on beadlock-style alloy wheels with aggressive tires. Damd has pulled this trick before on the Jimny and Every, and the formula works just as well here.

For those who prefer softer lines, the Bemore kit takes the opposite approach. A custom bumper with a larger intake and three horizontal slits replaces the grille, and the chin gets a body-colored finish. Vintage checkered decals run along the sides and quarter windows, and buyers can add a wood-trimmed roof basket and chrome wheels for extra old-school flair.

Inside, Damd offers seat covers that mimic brown leather with checkered inserts. 2-liter mild-hybrid engine making 81 horsepower, paired with a CVT and either front- or all-wheel drive. The kits go on sale July 10, but only to Japanese body shops and dealers. D kit runs ¥299,200 ($1,850) before installation, while the Bemore face swap is ¥154,000 ($950), with the decal set and seat covers sold separately.
