Shaq Takes the Plunge: World’s First 1964 Impala Jetboat Hits the Water

When you’re 7-foot-1 and built like a small building, buying a car isn’t a simple trip to the lot. Shaquille O’Neal’s collection is legendary for its over-the-top modifications, stretched Ferraris with relocated gas tanks, custom widebody Chargers. But his latest ride? It doesn’t even need asphalt.
The NBA Hall of Famer just took delivery of a fully functional jetboat disguised as a 1964 Chevy Impala lowrider. The video from custom shop Effortless Motors shows the delivery and first voyage of this impossible machine.
The boat is a tribute to one of cinema’s most famous lowriders: Ice Cube’s ’64 Impala from *Boyz n the Hood*. Effortless Motors built it from scratch, matching the golden-brown paint, classic badging, and custom interior. “We built this from the ground up, does not exist,” the builder says in the video.
” To top it off, they delivered two vehicles that day: the jetboat and a matching real ’64 Impala street car to tow it.
A Texas thunderstorm wasn’t about to stop Shaq from testing his new toy. Despite dark clouds and lightning, he insisted on launching immediately. ” It’s absurd, it’s glorious, and it’s pure Shaq.
