Unique 2008 Charger SRT8 Coupe Up for Auction

A one-of-a-kind 2008 Charger SRT8 has been transformed into a two-door coupe by Metalcrafters, a California company that has built concept cars for automakers like Mercedes and Hyundai. The vehicle, now up for auction on Bring a Trailer, features a shortened body and a hand-formed carbon-fiber shell inspired by the 1968 Charger.

The exterior design includes a full-width grille, hidden-style headlights, and four round taillights, while the interior remains typical of late-2000s Chrysler models. 1-liter Hemi V8 engine still produces 425 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. With only 3,400 miles on the odometer, this custom car is a rare piece of automotive history.
