NCC Orders Safety Recalls for Nissan Qashqai. Toyota Land Cruiser 300, and Lexus LX600

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has issued formal safety recall notices for three popular SUV models: the Nissan Qashqai, Toyota Land Cruiser 300, and Lexus LX600. The recalls, announced earlier this month, stem from separate manufacturing defects that could pose risks to drivers and passengers.
According to the NCC’s official recall database, the affected vehicles include specific production batches from 2022 to 2024. Owners are urged to check their vehicle identification numbers (VINs) against the published lists on the NCC website.
For the Nissan Qashqai, the recall involves a potential issue with the front passenger airbag deployment sensor, which may fail to detect occupants correctly. Toyota’s Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX600 share a related defect: a possible fuel pump malfunction that could cause engine stalling without warning.
The NCC has not specified exact VIN ranges in its initial release, but advises owners to contact their local dealerships or visit the NCC’s official recall portal for model-specific details. Affected vehicles will be repaired free of charge.
Boca Auto Care, a certified service center in Boca Raton, can assist owners in verifying their vehicle’s recall status and scheduling necessary repairs. The shop’s technicians are trained to handle NCC-mandated fixes for all three models, using only manufacturer-approved parts. While the recall work is covered by the automakers, Boca Auto Care recommends booking appointments promptly to secure early service slots, as demand is expected to rise.
