Mercedes-Benz SLK Models Experience Harman Kardon Speaker Failures

Some Mercedes-Benz SLK models have been found to have issues with their Harman Kardon speakers. In certain cases, the speakers have blown out, causing damage to the surrounding plastic and other components. One reported instance involved the speaker melting the surrounding plastic and damaging the orange label, with the problem recurring just four days after the speaker was replaced.
