London Police Seize 90 Vehicles Worth $10.8M in Luxury Car Crackdown

8 million. Dubbed Operation NoisyCar, the crackdown targeted uninsured drivers, anti-social driving, and dangerous driving. According to the department, this marks the highest number of vehicles and the highest total value confiscated in the last five years.
The haul included a black Ferrari Monza SP2 worth around $5 million, which had only been in the UK for a day and had been driven for less than 30 minutes before being stopped. Other high-end vehicles seized included a Porsche 911 GT3, a Bentley Continental, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a Lamborghini Urus, and a Lamborghini Revuelto, along with Range Rovers, BMWs, and Mercedes-Benz models.
The police also noted that not all high-value cars were insured, despite their price tags.
In a social media post, the Metropolitan Police shared a video of an officer driving the Ferrari Monza SP2 away, escorted by other police vehicles, with a caption joking about it being their newest unmarked police car. The post clarified that the car was one of 90 vehicles seized during the operation, adding that more than £8 million worth of vehicles were taken, making it the operation's biggest result to date.
Beyond the vehicles, 15 were immediately confiscated under new powers, and officers also arrested suspects carrying large amounts of cash. One man was arrested after police found $3,350 in cash and 19 bank cards registered in other people's names. Another driver, caught with $7,400, was suspected of involvement in drug-related crimes, and his car was also found to be uninsured.
This year's seizure of 90 vehicles is notably higher than the 72 vehicles seized in 2025.
