Palm Beach State College Welding Students Win Award

Palm Beach State College welding students have won the People's Choice Award in the Florida College System category for their sculpture, Forged Freedom. The piece was created to celebrate America's 250th anniversary and showcases the skills and creativity of the next generation of welders.

The award recognizes the students' craftsmanship and attention to detail. The sculpture, an eagle, demonstrates the students' ability to create complex and detailed pieces. This achievement highlights the importance of skilled craftsmanship in various fields, including automotive repair and maintenance.

European and Japanese vehicles, such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, VW, Volvo, Jaguar, Lexus, Toyota, and Honda models, require skilled technicians to repair and maintain them. The students' win serves as a reminder of the value of skilled labor and attention to detail in all industries.
