Lexus F Sport Package: What It Offers and Which Models Have It

Lexus F Sport Package: What It Offers and Which Models Have It

Lexus first rolled out the F Sport trim back in 2008 on the IS F sedan, aiming to give drivers a sportier feel and look without jumping all the way to full-blown F models like the V8-powered IS F or RC F. Since then, the F Sport badge has spread across most of the lineup, but here's the catch: it doesn't mean the same thing on every car.

Depending on the model, F Sport can be a standalone trim, a handling upgrade, a performance bundle, or sometimes a mix of all three.

According to Lexus, the core of any F Sport model is a factory-tuned suspension that sharpens handling and road feel. Every version also gets more aggressive exterior styling, think mesh grilles and sportier bumpers, plus upgraded seats, aluminum pedals, and an F Sport steering wheel inside.

But beyond that, features vary widely. 3-inch touchscreen. A limited Special Appearance Package adds Hakugin Matte White paint, black BBS forged wheels, and Mark Levinson audio. Meanwhile, the TX three-row SUV offers three F Sport tiers: Handling, Performance Premium, and Performance Luxury.

The Handling trim on a TX 350 includes adaptive suspension and AWD, while the Performance trims on the hybrid TX500h add dynamic rear steering and exclusive interior accents.

The RX midsize SUV follows a similar pattern, with Handling, Performance, and Design F Sport versions, again, the Performance trim ties to the RX 500h hybrid with dynamic rear steering. The LX flagship SUV got its own F Sport Handling grade for 2026, along with an optional Appearance Package.

And the NX compact SUV also offers an F Sport option, making it one of the more affordable ways into the club. One thing to remember: F Sport is about styling and handling, not raw power. If you want Lexus's most potent factory builds, you're looking at F models like the discontinued IS 500 F Sport Performance or the RC F, both with naturally aspirated V8s and no compromises.
