Inside the 2027 Chevy Silverado: A Cabin Revolution with Screens Everywhere

Inside the 2027 Chevy Silverado: A Cabin Revolution with Screens Everywhere

When Chevrolet unveils a new Silverado, it’s a big moment. As America’s second-best-selling vehicle, the 2027 model brings more than just two new small-block V-8 engines under the hood. The interior has been completely reimagined, and it’s far more modern and upscale than anything Chevy has offered before.

3-inch touchscreen that sits inside a parallelogram-shaped bezel, complete with a physical volume knob—a welcome touch for drivers who prefer real buttons. 2-inch digital gauge cluster. 4-inch screen, which was only available on mid-tier trims. 0-inch unit.

5-inch screen for the front passenger. Combined with a head-up display and a digital rearview mirror, Chevy says these top trims offer over 60 inches of digital real estate. Thankfully, physical climate controls and buttons for towing and all-wheel drive remain below the screen, alongside two angled wireless charging slots.

Each trim gets its own personality. The off-road ZR2 features Torch Red accents on the vents, dashboard, seatbelts, and stitching, plus forged carbon-fiber trim on the doors and console—a material first for GM, borrowed from supercars like Lamborghinis. The Trail Boss gets red seatbelt accents and unique seat perforations, while the High Country goes luxurious with real wood trim, tan leather, and a panoramic sunroof, another first for the Silverado.

The 2027 Silverado 1500 arrives at dealers late this year, with trims ranging from the Work Truck to the High Country and ZR2. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but expect a slight increase over the 2026 model, which starts at $38,345 for the Work Truck and tops out at $65,795 for the High Country.
