Hyundai Slashes Ioniq 5 N Price by $6,300 for 2026, Making 641 HP More Accessible

Hyundai is making its electric performance crossover a whole lot easier on the wallet. The 2026 Ioniq 5 N arrives with a starting price of $61,500, a $6,300 drop from the 2025 model’s $67,800. That’s a serious discount on a vehicle packing 641 horsepower, and it comes as the automaker retools its lineup and waits for the Ioniq 6 N to arrive in North America.

Beyond the price cut, the 2026 model gets a few meaningful updates. Hyundai swapped the CCS charging port for a NACS port, aligning with Tesla’s standard. The Drift mode now offers 10 adjustable stages, up from just one. Every new Ioniq 5 N also includes Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, plus adapters for both Level 2 and DC fast charging.

Other touches: rear windows now have auto up/down, a driver-awareness warning is standard, and a new paint color joins the palette.

S. market. Hyundai canceled the standard Ioniq 6 here earlier this year, but the sporty 6 N is still on the calendar, though details are scarce. Hyundai’s consumer site describes it as having “extremely limited availability” and expects it to arrive sometime this year. For now, the 5 N is the clear value play in Hyundai’s high-performance EV lineup.
