Honda Introduces Off-Road App for TrailSport Models

Honda has released the Honda Trail Experience (HTX) app, a free application available for iPhone users. The app connects to the vehicle's infotainment system via wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity and provides 11 different data readouts, including elevation, pitch, roll, and brake pressure.

These readouts can be displayed on the touchscreen in real-time. The app also allows users to log and combine data with maps to revisit favorite routes and create videos of trail runs with data overlays to share on social media. The HTX app is compatible with Honda TrailSport models, such as the CR-V, Passport, and Pilot.

This development showcases Honda's efforts to enhance the off-road capabilities of their vehicles through technology.
