Honda Pulls 300,000+ Cars for Rearview Camera Glitch

S. after discovering a problem with the rearview camera display. The issue affects certain 2022-2023 model year cars and SUVs, where the image on the screen may not appear when the driver shifts into reverse. That’s a safety risk because it blocks the driver’s view directly behind the vehicle.

The recall covers popular models including the Civic, Accord, CR-V, and HR-V, as well as the Acura Integra. According to documents filed with federal safety regulators, the glitch stems from a software error in the audio display unit.
