Fully Loaded BMW M2 xDrive Reaches $92,400

BMW's new M2 xDrive starts at $74,950, but checking every factory option box pushes the price to $92,400 after destination fees. The biggest jump comes from the $9,900 Carbon Package, which includes carbon bucket seats and exterior carbon parts. A $3,000 Borusan Turkish Blue paint option is the second-largest expense.

The all-wheel-drive M2 adds 185 pounds compared to the rear-drive version but shaves three-tenths of a second off the zero-to-60 time. S. demand convinced the company to build this model. The configurator also lists 19- and 20-inch black M wheels for $1,300, plus smaller add-ons like a $500 Alcantara steering wheel, $300 remote start, and a $1,100 head-up display.

Without the Carbon Package and the special blue paint, a fully equipped M2 xDrive falls below $80,000 before destination charges. 5 percent above the base MSRP, moving into territory usually reserved for larger M cars. There are also hints that another M2 variant could be coming, which might give buyers reason to wait before ordering.
