Fully Loaded 2027 BMW iX5 Spotted at Dealer with Rare Upgrades

The 2027 BMW X5 configurator is live across Europe, but electric SUV fans will have to wait until early October to build their own iX5. For now, only the gasoline and diesel 40 xDrive models are available to customize, hitting dealerships by late November. But a new dealer video shows what happens when you throw every option at the all-electric iX5 60 xDrive, and the result is nothing short of spectacular.

This particular pre-production prototype is painted in Dravit Grey, a BMW Individual color that costs €2,140 in Germany. It also rides on massive 23-inch wheels, a first for the X5, priced at €3,150. The M Sport Package Pro adds blacked-out exterior accents, an illuminated kidney grille, and red M Sport brake calipers.

Inside, the Tartufo leather, another Individual upgrade, runs €5,460 and completely transforms the cabin. 6-inch passenger display, borrowed from the facelifted 7 Series, and Individual Clear & Bold trim with real stone and crystal-glass accents round out the high-end feel.

The video also highlights subtle touches like ambient lighting in the door panels, pillows on the rear headrests and center armrest, four-zone climate control with a rear touchscreen, and a Bowers & Wilkins sound system. BMW offers a choice of steering wheels, including a vertical-spoke design in white if paired with Smoke White leather.

Production of the G65 X5 starts next month in Spartanburg, with the 40 xDrive and 40d xDrive leading the launch. S. market.
