Ford's SV300T Package Turns the Maverick Into a Modern Street Sport Truck

Ford's new SV300T package gives the Maverick the street-truck boost fans have wanted since the model was first spotted testing in Michigan back in fall 2020. The Lobo trim alone didn't add power, but this kit attacks performance with a twin-scroll turbocharger from the EcoBoost Mustang, suspension upgrades, 20-inch Mustang Mach-E GT wheels, a Borla cat-back exhaust and software tuning.
0-liter turbo-four from 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque to 300 horsepower and 317 pound-feet. It works with any non-hybrid Maverick, though the Lobo is the best starting point for street-truck looks. Ford will open ordering later this year, and the package can be installed at the factory or shipped as a kit for about $5,000.
CarBuzz tested the setup on an autocross course in the Michigan International Speedway parking lot and found the truck could be coaxed into a four-wheel drift with stability controls loosened up. 3 cubic feet of cargo room.
Ford hasn't said whether the package affects utility. Stock figures are up to 1,500 pounds of payload, 2,000 pounds of towing, and an optional 4K tow package raises that to 4,000 pounds. The SV300T puts the Maverick in a street-truck space with no real factory rival, reviving a segment that largely faded after the mini-truck era.
