Ford. Honda and Jeep Drivers: Three Major Recalls Hit the Road This Week

If you own a Ford. Honda, or Jeep, this week's recall list might have your name on it. Automakers have issued separate safety notices covering thousands of vehicles, and experts say owners should check their VINs as soon as possible. The recalls target issues ranging from brake problems to potential fire risks.

Ford is recalling select models over a brake fluid leak that could reduce stopping power. The company says the problem affects certain 2023-2024 vehicles, and dealers will replace the affected parts free of charge. Meanwhile. Honda is pulling back a number of 2024 models due to a fuel pump defect that could cause the engine to stall or fail to start.

The Japanese automaker has not reported any crashes or injuries related to the issue.

Jeep rounds out the trio with a recall tied to a loose electrical connection in some 2023-2024 SUVs. In rare cases, the fault could lead to a short circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving. Jeep says it will inspect and repair the wiring harness at no cost to owners.

If you think your vehicle might be affected, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website and enter your VIN. No appointment needed, just peace of mind.
