Ford Cuts 2027 F-150 Raptor Price to Match Ram RHO, But There's a Catch

Ford Cuts 2027 F-150 Raptor Price to Match Ram RHO, But There's a Catch

Ford is lowering the starting price of its 2027 F-150 Raptor off-road pickup, bringing it in line with the base Ram RHO. The entry-level Raptor now starts at $74,995 before a $2,795 destination charge, making the total $77,790. That's a $4,010 drop from last year's model.

The move appears to be a direct response to Ram, whose 2027 RHO carries the same sticker price and destination fee. However, the lower price comes with fewer standard features. According to CarsDirect's review of Ford's 2027 order guide, the new base configuration drops the premium B&O Unleashed sound system, head-up display, and heated rear seats.

To get those back, buyers must choose Equipment Group 801A, which adds $4,120, effectively canceling the savings.

Ford hasn't made an official announcement yet, and CarBuzz has reached out for confirmation. Details are emerging through dealer order guides.

5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. 0-liter twin-turbo inline-six produces 540 hp and 521 lb-ft, routed through an eight-speed automatic. Both trucks feature large off-road suspension setups, similar ground clearance, and 35-inch tires, though the Raptor offers slightly more suspension travel.

Ram is also undercutting the Raptor with two new Hemi-powered 1500 models: the 470-horsepower Rumble Bee 392 at $72,790 and the 395-horsepower Rumble Bee at $62,790. The supercharged 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX returns at $102,790 with 777 hp, beating Ford's Raptor R on both price and power, though updated Raptor R pricing hasn't been released yet.

This pricing battle highlights how competition among Detroit automakers keeps pushing each other to adjust. Meanwhile, General Motors is preparing new full-size Chevy and GMC pickups, but none have yet matched the Raptor's legacy in this segment.
