Evenflo Pulls 59,000+ Reo Revolve360 Car Seats Over Head Restraint Issue

Evenflo has issued a recall for over 59,000 units of its popular Reo by Revolve360 child-safety seats. The problem? The head restraint may not stay in place during a crash, putting children at risk of injury. The recall covers specific models manufactured between August 2022 and November 2024, and owners are urged to stop using the seats immediately.
According to federal safety regulators, the head restraint's locking mechanism can fail under impact, allowing the child's head to move forward too far. Evenflo says it will provide a free repair kit that reinforces the head restraint system. No injuries have been reported so far, but the company is acting after discovering the flaw during internal testing.
If you own one of these seats, check the model number on the label, it's usually on the side or back of the base. Evenflo will mail the repair kit, which includes a new bracket and instructions for installation. For help, call Evenflo's customer service or visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's recall page.
And for any car seat installation questions, stop by Boca Auto Care, we'll make sure your child rides safe and sound.
