Dodge Unveils Bold Durango Concept and Custom Color Program at Roadkill Nights

Dodge is using this year's Roadkill Nights event in Pontiac, Michigan, to showcase a range of fresh looks for the Charger and Durango, including an eye-catching Durango concept and a new custom paint program.
The Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen concept features a white base paint called Smokescreen, with the front end dipped in Cryo Blue that transitions to white through a pixelated pattern. 4-liter Hemi V-8. The white blocks form a robotic-style racing stripe that shifts to blue-over-white on the roof.
The concept rides on 20-inch forged Cryo Blue wheels with orange accents that match the amber daytime running lights. Inside, it has Petrol Blue Laguna leather seats with silver stitching, plus suede-wrapped steering wheel and dashboard with carbon-fiber trim.
Dodge also introduced the Color Jailbreak program, a custom color service designed to let owners personalize their vehicles further. To test public reaction, the company is displaying a Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak in Toxic Orange and a Charger Scat Pack in Cha Ching Green.
Additionally, Dodge is showing the new Tinted Dual Stripes graphic, which will soon be available as a factory option on the Durango and Charger. The translucent finish allows the body color to show through for a subtler look. Two examples are on display: a Charger in Bludicrous and a Durango GT Hemi in Redeye, the latter also fitted with the new Brass Monkey package featuring dark bronze 20-inch wheels and black fender badges.
While the Tinted Dual Stripes and Brass Monkey package are headed for production, the future of the Smokescreen graphics and which colors might join the Color Jailbreak program remains undecided. Dodge is letting fans vote on a "rainbow of high-impact color options" at the show.
