Dodge Expands Custom Color Options With New Jailbreak Program

Dodge is shaking up its factory paint offerings with a new initiative called Color Jailbreak, designed to give more buyers access to custom colors that were previously limited to special models. The company is showcasing the program at Roadkill Nights with two eye-catching vehicles: a 2027 Charger Scat Pack in Cha Ching Green and a Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak in Toxic Orange.
Pricing and availability details won't be announced until later in 2026, but Dodge says the targeted starting price aims to be affordable for regular enthusiasts, not just wealthy collectors. The program could eventually extend to calipers, stripes, spoilers, two-tone finishes, and other color combinations.
At the event, fans can also vote on a range of potential Charger colors, though Dodge hasn't specified how much influence that voting will have on final production decisions. The company also unveiled the Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen Concept, which features a gray body with a Cryo Blue pattern running down the sides, amber daytime running lights, Cryo Blue mirror caps, and matching brake calipers.
It rides on 20-by-10-inch forged Y-spoke wheels in Cryo Blue, with an interior trimmed in Petrol Blue Laguna leather seats, suede accents, and carbon-fiber details. 9-second quarter-mile.
Dodge is also introducing factory-installed Tinted Dual Stripes for the Charger and Durango. These translucent stripes let the original paint show through, creating a tone-on-tone effect that changes with the base color and lighting. They run from nose to tail and are installed at the factory for proper fit and durability.
Roadkill Nights attendees can see them on a Bludicrous SIXPACK Charger and a Durango GT HEMI Tow ’n Go painted in the new Redeye exterior color, which is available to order now. That Durango also features the Brass Monkey Package with bronze-colored forged wheels and black fender badges with brass accents.
The Tinted Dual Stripes are expected to arrive soon.
