Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition: Six-Cylinder Muscle That Beats a Hellcat to 60

Dodge has unveiled the Charger Super Bee Launch Edition, a limited-production model aimed at reigniting enthusiasm for the Charger lineup. 0-liter twin-turbo inline-six, now fitted with larger 56 mm Garrett turbochargers running at 30 psi. Output stands at 600 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque, paired with a modified air intake and new software that sharpens throttle response and launch control.

1 seconds quicker than the 2015 Hellcat. 0 flat. To handle track work, cooling capacity in the radiator circuit is up by more than 50 percent, thanks to a new grille, larger intakes, and auxiliary radiators.

Braking improves with 27 percent larger pads, six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo calipers, and 16-inch discs all around. The car rides on 20×11-inch wheels with 305/35 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires. Handling upgrades include continuous damping control dual-valve adaptive dampers, stiffer front and rear springs, a 20 percent stiffer rear stabilizer bar, and revised front links and bushings.

A standout feature is a dedicated rear-wheel drive mode that disengages the all-wheel drive system, inspired by the BMW M3. Track and Drag Modes, Link Lock, Launch Control, and a Torque Reserve function support repeated hard launches. The Super Bee is also the first Charger Sixpack with Driver Experience Recorded, which syncs a forward-facing 1080p camera with onboard data.

Launch Edition models come in Sucker Punch yellow-green or Diamond Black, with gloss-black graphics, embroidered headrests, contrast stitching, a leather performance steering wheel, and a distinctive instrument display. Pricing has not been announced, but Dodge says the run will be limited, so buyers will need to act quickly when orders open.
