Cybertruck Torn in Half as Runaway Moving Truck Triggers 10-Car Maryland Pileup

A Tesla Cybertruck was literally ripped in two during a chaotic chain-reaction crash in Silver Spring, Maryland, over the weekend. The incident began when a moving truck reportedly lost control and slammed into a line of traffic, setting off a multi-vehicle pileup that left at least 10 people injured.

Emergency crews arrived to find a scene of twisted metal and scattered debris. According to Montgomery County authorities, the crash involved at least 10 vehicles, including the Cybertruck, which was split cleanly between the cab and the bed, with high-voltage cables left dangling in the air.

One black SUV was flipped onto its side behind the moving truck, while another appeared to have been T-boned and pushed down the roadway. Firefighters had to rescue several people trapped inside their damaged cars.

The Cybertruck, already a target of strong opinions since its debut, became literally divided in this crash. But despite the dramatic visual, the outcome could have been much worse. Police reported that 10 people were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries, including three children.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the moving truck to lose control, and the probe remains ongoing.
