Dongfeng’s display in Montreal featured a range of affordable EVs that could give Canadian buyers a fresh alternative to pricier domestic and European options. The decision to focus on Canada comes as Chinese automakers look for new growth avenues amid trade tensions. Dongfeng plans to start sales with two models, with a broader rollout expected after 2027. For Canadian drivers, this could mean more choices and lower prices in the EV segment.
