Cadillac’s $55,000 Customization Option Costs More Than a Whole Luxury SUV

Cadillac is taking its electric Escalade IQ upmarket with a new personalization program that costs nearly $55,000 on top of the vehicle's price. The package, called Curated by Cadillac, is available for the 2027 model year and lets buyers work directly with a design concierge to create a one-of-a-kind SUV.
The exterior palette includes more than 160 premium colors and finishes, ranging from solid and metallic to tri-coats, frosts, and matte options. Inside, customers can choose from up to 44 colors and mix combinations across all three seating rows, the center console, and even the floor mats.
Cadillac says this creates millions of possible design combinations, with the goal of feeling more like commissioning a bespoke luxury item than ordering a standard vehicle.
Each Curated Escalade IQ is hand-painted and assembled by artisans at Cadillac's Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan, and comes with a unique VIN and a serialized builder's badge. The program costs $54,995, which does not include the SUV itself, taxes, title, license, dealer fees, or any dealer-added adjustments.
That price alone could buy a well-equipped compact luxury SUV.
Underneath the custom exterior, the Escalade IQ retains its electric performance. Cadillac estimates a range of up to 465 miles on a full charge, though this has not received an official EPA rating. 7 seconds on a closed course. The interior features a 55-inch Horizon display, and Super Cruise hands-free driving comes with a three-year connected-service plan.
The vehicle also supports vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging with compatible GM Energy equipment.
Production is limited to the United States and Canada, with deliveries expected in the second half of 2027. A concept version will be shown at The Quail in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, on August 14, 2026. The program is not meant for everyone, Cadillac is offering a small number of wealthy buyers the chance to build an Escalade IQ so personalized that losing it in a parking lot should be nearly impossible.
