Boca Drivers Take Note: Major Recalls Hit BMW, Nissan, Jeep, Land Rover, and Ford

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released a fresh round of recalls affecting five major automakers, and local drivers should check if their vehicles are included. The recalls cover select models from BMW, Nissan, Jeep, Land Rover, and Ford, with issues ranging from brake problems to potential fire risks.

It’s a big list, and Boca Auto Care is urging area owners to look up their vehicle identification numbers as soon as possible.

Starting with BMW, the recall targets certain 3 Series sedans and X3 SUVs from recent model years due to a faulty brake booster that could reduce stopping power. Nissan is recalling select Altimas and Rogues over a transmission issue that might cause unexpected stalling. Jeep’s recall affects a handful of Wrangler and Cherokee models where the fuel pump could fail, leaving drivers stranded.

Land Rover is pulling in some Range Rover and Discovery variants because of a headlight issue that compromises visibility. Ford rounds out the list with a recall on certain F-150 pickups and Explorer SUVs for a seat belt problem that may not hold properly in a crash.

Owners can check for open recalls by entering their VIN on the NHTSA’s website or by calling their dealership. Boca Auto Care can also run a quick check during any visit. The shop notes that recall repairs are free at the dealer, but if you need a safety inspection or a rental while your vehicle is being fixed, they’ve got you covered.

Waiting on a recall can be dangerous, so this is one of those times when acting fast really matters.

If you drive one of these brands, don’t assume your car isn’t affected. Even if you haven’t gotten a letter in the mail yet, the recall might still apply. Bring your car by Boca Auto Care, and we’ll look up your VIN and help you schedule the repair with your preferred dealer. It’s a small step that could make a big difference on the road.
