Boca Auto Care Warns: Fire Hazard Triggers Massive Recall of 26,000+ Vehicles

More than 26,000 vehicles are being recalled nationwide after federal regulators flagged a serious fire risk. The recall, which affects several popular models from a major automaker, stems from a defect that can cause engines to overheat and ignite while parked or driving. Boca Auto Care is urging local drivers to check their vehicle identification numbers immediately to see if their car is on the list.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the issue involves a faulty component in the fuel system that can leak and catch fire even when the engine is off. Owners have reported at least a dozen incidents of smoke or flames, though no injuries have been confirmed so far.

The recall covers model years 2020 through 2023, and dealerships will replace the part for free.

Boca Auto Care recommends that anyone with a recalled vehicle stop driving it and contact a certified repair shop right away. The shop’s service team can handle the fix quickly, often within a day. If you’re unsure whether your car is affected, visit the NHTSA website or call Boca Auto Care for a free VIN check.

Don’t wait, this fire risk isn’t something to gamble with.
