Boca Auto Care Alert: Nissan. Toyota, and Lexus Issue Major Recalls for Fuel Leaks and Engine Problems

Major automakers Nissan. Toyota, and Lexus have announced recalls affecting thousands of vehicles due to serious safety concerns, including potential fuel leaks and engine malfunctions. The recalls target specific models where defects could lead to fire risks or sudden power loss, prompting urgent warnings for owners.

For Nissan, the recall primarily involves certain models where a fuel pump issue may cause the engine to stall unexpectedly, increasing crash risks. Toyota and its luxury division Lexus are recalling vehicles over a separate defect: a crack in the fuel line that could leak gasoline, posing a fire hazard.

Affected owners are being notified by mail and instructed to bring their cars to authorized dealers for free repairs.

Local drivers should check their vehicle identification number (VIN) on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website or contact their dealer to see if their car is included. Boca Auto Care recommends that any owner of a recalled Nissan. Toyota, or Lexus model schedule an inspection promptly.
