Boca Auto Care Alert: Major SUV Recalls from Nissan. Toyota, and Lexus Over Fuel and Engine Issues

If you drive a Nissan, Toyota, or Lexus SUV, you may want to check your mailbox. The three automakers have issued recalls affecting thousands of vehicles due to potential fuel leaks and engine stalling problems. These safety risks can lead to fires or sudden loss of power while driving, making immediate attention critical.

The recall covers specific models, including certain Nissan Rogue, Toyota RAV4, and Lexus RX SUVs from recent years. The issue stems from faulty fuel pumps that can crack or fail, allowing fuel to leak onto hot engine parts. In other cases, engine control software errors may cause the engine to stall unexpectedly, increasing crash risks.

Owners will receive notifications starting next month, with dealers offering free repairs.

Boca Auto Care recommends that if you own one of these SUVs, you should not wait for the official letter. Contact your local dealer or visit our shop for a quick check. We can help verify if your vehicle is affected and guide you through the repair process. Staying ahead of these recalls keeps your family safe and your SUV on the road.
