BMW iX3 Sales Exceed 10,000 in Europe

The BMW iX3 has sold 10,299 units in Europe in its first two full months on the market, according to market researcher Dataforce. This surpasses the sales of the Polestar 4, which had a four-month head start and registered 8,925 sales over the same period. The strong start is part of a broader lift in the premium midsize SUV segment.

The Audi Q6 e-tron sold 12,536 units through April, but saw a 23 percent decline year-over-year. The BMW iX3's demand has been robust, with over 50,000 orders placed ahead of a factory expansion in February. Notably, one in three iX3 buyers is new to the brand. In the premium midsize SUV category, the Mercedes-Benz GLC leads with 41,227 units sold, though this number likely includes both gas and electric versions.

The combustion-engine BMW X3 followed with 28,389 sales from January through April.
