BMW Bulgaria’s 2026 M Drive Tour Brings the Full M Lineup to a New Track

BMW Bulgaria’s 2026 M Drive Tour Brings the Full M Lineup to a New Track

BMW Bulgaria has revived its M Drive Tour for 2026, moving the event to the recently opened A1 Motor Park near Samokov. The 2.4-mile circuit, which features 15 corners and a 900-meter straight, will host more than 200 guests—customers, media, and M enthusiasts—through June 18.

This year’s tour offers a rare chance to drive nearly the entire current M lineup back-to-back. Participants can get behind the wheel of the M3 Sedan and M3 Touring, as well as the larger M5 Sedan and M5 Touring. The M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible are also present, set up for drift and slalom exercises.

BMW didn’t just grab random cars from the lot. Each vehicle was specially ordered with Individual paint finishes and M Performance Parts, making these among the most expensive M-badged models on the road today.

For context, the current-generation M3 is nearing the end of its run. Production of both the sedan and wagon is expected to wrap next year. But BMW has confirmed a direct successor—codenamed G84—and M boss Frank van Meel recently stated it will not be a plug-in hybrid. Whether a Touring version returns remains uncertain, as BMW works on a new 3 Series wagon.

The M5, meanwhile, is due for a major Life Cycle Impulse in 2027, with a next-generation dashboard layout, a central touchscreen, and a windshield projection system. Exterior changes are expected but likely less dramatic. The M4 Coupe and Convertible are expected to continue until mid-2029, having already received their mid-cycle update.

Registration for the M Drive Tour is handled through BMW Bulgaria’s local dealerships. Pricing has not been publicly disclosed, but attendance is by invitation for customers and media.
