Fake Gasoline Distribution Scams Target Vehicle Owners

Researchers have discovered phishing websites impersonating well-known gas station brands. These sites offer motorists the chance to reserve up to 20 liters of gasoline and claim to allow users to book gasoline and receive a QR code to show at the gas station, eliminating wait times.
However, this is a scam aimed at stealing users' Telegram account credentials. Vehicle owners are advised to be cautious of suspicious websites and never enter sensitive information on unverified pages. The scam poses a risk to owners of various vehicle makes, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, VW, Volvo, Jaguar, Lexus, Toyota, and Honda, as well as hybrid models.
To avoid falling victim, it is essential to be aware of these types of scams and exercise caution when interacting with unfamiliar websites.
