Acura’s Tiny Luxury Lineup Is Selling Like Crazy - Here’s Why

Acura’s Tiny Luxury Lineup Is Selling Like Crazy - Here’s Why

Acura’s two smallest models are having a monster month, and the numbers suggest the brand should have jumped into the subcompact crossover game years ago. The Acura ADX and the Integra both posted huge June sales gains, with the Integra nearly doubling its volume from the same month last year.

That’s the kind of momentum that keeps a dealership busy.

Acura is down to just three models in active production—the MDX, ADX, and Integra—after the TLX sedan ended production last year, the ZDX EV was discontinued, and the RDX crossover recently wrapped up. But those three are on fire. 5% jump over June 2025, and the car is up 42% for the first half of 2026.

7% increase—and has sold 16,554 vehicles so far this year, a 255% gain over its abbreviated 2025 launch.

2% with 4,458 units sold, keeping it the brand’s top seller. 8% compared to last year. Dealers also managed to sell 21 leftover TLX sedans, 23 ZDX EVs, and 2,052 RDX units from remaining inventory, but once those are gone, the brand will rely entirely on its three core models. For the first half of 2026, total sales are up only slightly—about 1,400 units to hit 69,715—and analysts expect that number to dip when the RDX inventory dries up.

So why are buyers flocking to these small luxury models? Affordability is a big part of it. 5-liter turbo-four engine you can’t get in those Hondas, plus unique bodywork and interiors that feel a cut above. The Integra now holds 40% of its segment, beating rivals like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA on price.

The ADX has grabbed 30% of its much wider segment, which includes the Lexus UX and Volvo XC40, in just over a year. With the RDX due back as a hybrid in two years, Acura’s current momentum shows customers are still finding what they want in the showroom.
