Lynn University Dedicates New Softball Stadium

Lynn University has officially named its new softball stadium the Tish Celenza Messinger Stadium, in honor of a longtime benefactor and former athlete. 3 million pledge from Tish Celenza Messinger, the largest single gift ever directed to women's sports at the university. The donation will be split between the construction of the stadium and new student scholarships.

The stadium, which seats over 200 fans, features premium synthetic turf, modern dugouts, and an elevated press box with broadcast-ready technology. It is designed to provide a home-field advantage for the university's softball team, the Fighting Knights. The team has a 20-year history in the competitive Sunshine State Conference, with 50 all-conference honors and four All-Americans.

The new stadium and scholarship support are expected to boost the program's energy and recruiting efforts.
