250 Classic Chevy Impalas Head to Auction in Nebraska

A massive collection of classic Chevrolets, including roughly 250 Impalas, is set to hit the auction block in Fremont, Nebraska. Vanderbrink Auctions will handle the sale on Saturday, October 3, with online bidding available for those unable to attend in person.
The collection features more than 300 vehicles total, spanning multiple generations of GM muscle and family cars. According to a preliminary video from the auction house, the lot includes wagons, two-doors, four-doors, 409 cars, and El Caminos. A lineup of 1967-1972 C/K pickups also appears in the footage.
Conditions vary widely—some cars are parts-only shells, while others appear to be runners ready for the road.
Auction organizers have posted an excited description online: "OVER 250 IMPALAS! CHEVELLE, TRI-FIVE, PICKUPS, AND MORE! LIVE ONSITE AND ONLINE! YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS IT!" Additional photos and details are promised soon.
For collectors, the third-generation Impalas (1961–1964) often command the highest prices. Auction data from Bring a Trailer shows that well-preserved examples can sell for nearly six figures, while incomplete projects still bring around $15,000 depending on their needs. But with such a wide range of models and conditions, the auction is likely to offer something for every GM enthusiast.
Whether you're hunting for a rare 409-powered coupe or a solid daily driver from the 1970s, this Nebraska hoard could be worth a look. Online registration is open now.
