2027 Nissan Murano Costs More as Base Trim Gets the Ax

Nissan is reshuffling the Murano lineup for 2027, cutting the entry-level SV trim and introducing a new Dark Armor edition. With the SV gone, the cheapest way into a Murano now costs $45,535, up $2,320 from last year’s starting price.
The SL trim becomes the new base model, and its price drops $2,770 to $45,535. But that discount comes with fewer features: the SL no longer includes a panoramic sunroof, a 10-speaker Bose stereo, or in-dash navigation. The SV had been the only trim offered with front-wheel drive, so every 2027 Murano now comes standard with all-wheel drive.
The new Dark Armor trim starts at $48,535 and adds gloss-black 21-inch wheels, sportier bumpers and side skirts, black Nissan badges, and Dark Armor door badges. Interior upholstery is limited to Graphite, with six exterior choices: Gun Metallic, Super Black, Scarlet Ember, Everest White, Boulder Gray with a black roof, and Everest White with a black roof.
At the top, the Platinum trim drops $10 to $51,335. Nissan hasn’t announced an exact on-sale date, but the Murano is expected to reach dealerships this fall. The move follows a strong year for the redesigned model, which saw sales jump from 19,316 units in 2024 to 42,747 in 2025.
