2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition: 600 HP, Track-Ready, and Hellcat-Redeye Quick

2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition: 600 HP, Track-Ready, and Hellcat-Redeye Quick

Dodge has revealed the 2027 Charger Super Bee Launch Edition, a track-focused version of the gas-powered Charger powered by the Hurricane twin-turbocharged inline-6. Larger twin 56-mm Garrett turbochargers boost output to 600 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. Dodge says it is the most track-focused Super Bee yet, and buyers get one day of performance driving instruction at Radford Racing School with the purchase.

8-second quarter-mile. 3-second 0-to-60 sprint.

Available as a two-door or four-door, the Launch Edition gets unique cooling and aero upgrades, upgraded brakes, and a new adaptive suspension. The front splitter is one-third longer than the Scat Pack's, and a larger rear spoiler improves balance and stability. Special colors include Sucker Punch, Shady, and Diamond Black, with Super Bee stinger graphics, gloss black 20-inch wheels, and Hyper Lime brake calipers.

Inside, there's a Super Bee instrument-panel badge, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a rear-wheel-drive button and larger paddle shifters, and high-backed performance seats with Citrus Peel inserts.

Dodge also equipped the Super Bee with 16-inch Brembo rotors, six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires, Continuous Damping Control adaptive dampers, increased spring rates, and a stiffer rear stabilizer bar. New Track and Drag modes join a Race Prep function, and the returning Torque Reserve feature helps build boost for launches.

A Cosworth drive recorder captures track sessions.

The Super Bee name marks the Dodge Charger's 60th anniversary. The first Charger Super Bee arrived in 1971, with the last one appearing in 2023, and this is the first time the Super Bee name has been used on a six-cylinder Charger. Dodge hasn't announced pricing, ordering, or availability details yet.
